An Oklahoma mother is dead after police say she was shot. By her toddler son.

Authorities say Christa Engles, 26, was changing her 3-year-old son’s diaper when he fatally shot her in the head.

A neighbor told police the boy found the gun underneath a couch.

Engles, who has two other children, was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she later died.

According to police, the Engles husband was not home at the time of the incident.
