Per Madamenoire, this past summer, Amanda Bynes constantly made headlines with her “Ugly Campaign” where she (randomly) smeared other celebrities by pointing out how unattractive they are. Bynes’ disturbing tweets often left others questioning her mental state and before we knew it, Bynes forcibly entered rehab for starting a fire in a stranger’s driveway.
But on December 1, 2013, Bynes was released from rehab after being formally diagnosed with schizophrenia. She told InTouch Magazine:
“I am doing very well, I’m doing great, it’s been five days since I got out of rehab.”
Her family attorney, Tamar Aminak, stated Amanda will look into colleges so she can pursue a career in fashion, in hopes of launching her own line. The lawyer also told The Daily News:
“She’s living with her parents for the foreseeable future and plans on staying close to home during the holidays. She’s back to having that close relationship with both of her parents and everyone is happy about that. She’s not going to be out on her own. She’s in the custody of her parents and going to outpatient therapy. She’s getting re-acclimated to normal life, and part of that is enrolling in school and getting an education.”
Prior to her treatment and diagnosis, Bynes’ parents were concerned about her behavior, precarious body issues, and the fact she spent $1.2 million of $4 million life savings so rapidly.
Ear Hustle 411 wishes you the best of luck Amanda.
