HipHollywood can confirm that Will Smith’s ex wife and Hollywood Exes star Sheree Fletcher has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Terrell Fletcher.

A rep for Sheree tells us exclusively that she would like “privacy during this time” and that she wants to “thank her family, friends and fans for their support and prayers.”

According to reports, the reality star filed court documents at the Los Angeles County Superior Court and cited irreconcilable differences for the cause of their split. Sheree, who married the former NFL player turned pastor in 2007, is apparently asking for spousal support.

Over the past several months, the reality star has posted cryptic messages via Twitter confirming that her life was about to change.

“Heartbroken, disappointed, angry, furious, scared, excited…and hopeful! All the emotions that surface during a major transition!”

“Sometimes you have to step out in order to figure it out!”

The couple’s breakup might come as a shock because it was just over a year ago that the reality star was dishing to HipHollywood about how she makes her marriage work. “For us, friendship. We are friends. We were together five years before we got married so we have that foundation,” she told us while on the set of she and Terrell’s photo shoot in February 2013. “So if we are having problems as a couple, we can still hang out as friends. So we have that foundation. And our faith is super helpful.”
