Cameron Lewis, 17, told a judge late last year he robbed and sexually assaulted a woman who lived across the street from him.
The attack happened just a few days before Christmas in 2012.
Both Lewis and the woman lived on Wilber Street on South Bend’s northwest side.
Lewis was 16 when the attack happened but prosecutors charged him as an adult because the crime was so heinous.
Lewis was sentenced in St. Joseph County court this afternoon to 50 years for robbery and 50 years for criminal deviate conduct — both sentences to be served consecutively.
