Teen Thrown In Rikers Island Prison For 3 Years Without Ever Having Been Convicted For A Crime

16 Year old Kalief Browder was thrown in Rikers Island Prison for 3 years for a crime he never committed.

The Bronxs District Attorney never had a case from the inception of this terrible ordeal. No evidence, no property recovered and only one stranger who was the alleged witness.

This kid was walking home from a party where he was snatched off the streets, accused of robbery and thrown in prison along with murderers and rapists with no protection.

The worst part about this case is that he was never charged with anything. We hope and pray that justice is served for this young man because no one deserves to be treated like this.
