While Suge Knight and Dr. Dre once saw eye to eye, it wasn’t long before the two professionally and personally parted ways. Once Dr. Dre left Death Row to start Aftermath at Interscope, the bad blood between them only grew worse.

Fast forward to 2016, two decades after Dre went on to form his own venture, and Knight has reportedly slapped yet another lawsuit on the mogul. This time Knight is saying that he is owed a cut from the massive Beats by Dre deal.

As reported, Knight is suing Dr. Dre for a whopping $300 million, claiming that they previously signed a lifelong management deal entitling him to 30 percent of what Dre earns from the entertainment industry. With the producer’s deal with Apple raking in $1 billion, Knight is now looking for his major payday, alleging that he was never notified when Dre penned the deal, nor given his rightful share.

Knight also believes that Dr. Dre is the one behind his being shot seven times in 2014, theorizing that Dre was seeking to keep him out of the Beats by Dre headphone deal by way of hiring a hit man.

“Given that Dre has had zero interaction with Suge since leaving Death Row Records in 1996, we hope that Suge’s lawyer has lots of malicious prosecution insurance,” a lawyer representing Dr. Dre shared with TMZ.
