NBC has cancelled the Steve Harvey Show from their fall lineup and replaced its 7-year run with American Idol winner and pop star Kelly Clarkson.

Reasoning for the cancellation has not been made public at this time nor has it been announced if the show will find its way to another network. According to Radio Facts the show will be aligned with IMG.

Clarkson made this statement about her getting her own y’all show.

“I love connecting with people, playing games, music and finding ways to help or give back to communities/organizations…Having my own talk show where I get to do all of these things is pretty much a dream job!,”

Steve Harvey hasn’t spoken out about the cancellation however we can imagine it’s a major blow for him considering he move the show from Chicago to Los Angeles with the hopes of bringing more celebs to the show as well as airing prior to Ellen DeGeneres.
