A man found fatally shot and burned inside an apartment was a security guard for the rapper Twista. The body of Davy Easterling was found inside his apartment on 83rd and Baker early Friday morning. He had been shot several times.

On Twitter, Twista said he was mourning the loss of his friend and bodyguard, and posted that Easterling had been missing for three days.

Police are investigating.
