March 9th is one of those days that is always going to be well-remembered in music history for example on this day in 1977 was the last time the Jacksons’ television show appeared on national TV and in 1987 Shad “Lil Bow Wow” Moss made his way into the world but on this is the day when the music industry lost a hip hop icon. March 9, 1997 on Wilshire Boulevard & Fairfax in Los Angeles, California while stopped at the stoplight in the wee hours of the night, Christopher Wallace aka Notorious B.I.G. was met with bullets from a killer who has yet to revealed even amid the speculations.
Notorious B.I.G.’s death rocked the music industry very heavily, and it would seem that after his death would be a “series” of deaths to follow some to violence and some to accidents like Tupac, Aaliyah to name a few, regardless of how they left this earth it’s still a life gone too soon.
It’s a shame that lives are being lost due to nonsense, cooler heads always prevail and if we keep God first everything else will fall into place. Biggie Smalls said it best “The Sky Is The Limit and know that you keep on…just keep on pressing on!!
