Kanye Admits Mental Illness Is What Caused Him To Say “Slavery Was A Choice” For Black People

Kanye Allegedly Loses More Than 9 Million Twitter Followers After He Retweets Trumps Post

Early last month, Kanye shocked the African-American community when he appeared wearing a “Make America Great again” hat and showing adoring support for Donald Trump.  He also surprised his fans while on TMZ when he said;” Slavery was a choice for blacks if they accepted it for 400 years”.

Kane recently admitted that he has mental Illness which was the cause of his rant on TMZ.  He stated at 39 years old, he was diagnosed with the disease; he says he’s also  bi-polar which he mentions on his new album.

Kanye says, “I’m so blessed and so privileged because think about people that have mental issues that are not Kanye West, that can’t go and make that [album] and make you feel like it’s all good. Think about someone who does exactly what I did at TMZ and they just do that at work.

On Tuesday morning, they come in and they just lost their job. And they can’t go back and do that…That’s why God put that on me at 40…I’ve never been diagnosed and I was like 39 years old…It’s not a disability, it’s a superpower,” Kanye told Big Boy.

Kanye upset a lot of people with his slavery comment but it takes a bigger man to admit when he’s wrong.  Although many people turned their backs against him, he channeled that energy into making another hit album.

The rapper said despite the anger directed at him (some fans have also been upset by his support of President Trump), he feels like “a family member of the world.”

“That’s the reason why the world won’t let me go, cause I’m a family member,” West said. “They might disagree with me on certain s**t, but I’m they family. I been here for 15 years, 18 years.”
