In Greek News: The Late Stuart Scott Honored At His Alma Mater By The Tar Heels & Alpha Phi Alpha

The late Stuart Scott will forever be remembered for being the one sportscasting phenom who brought the “Boo-Yah”  to the realm of sports news.  The sports world was dealt a massive blow when he passed in January 2015, sports just didn’t seem to be as interesting.  Scott loved his Alma Mater, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and he would go back to visit as often as his career would allow him to.  But it was on the campus of UNC where Stuart made history.

In the fall of 1984 Scott entered into the world of Greekdom, joining the awesome men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Mighty Mu Zeta Chapter.  In honor of Stuart Scott’s love for his fraternity and exemplary legacy at UNC, the current members of the Mu Zeta chapter along with a few members of the Tar Heels Basketball Team salute him in the only way a “Stepmaster” such as Stuart Scott can be saluted.
