On December 6, 2014, EarHustle411 attended the most informative financial workshop ever with MC Lyte and financial consultant Lynn Richardson. The Hip Hop Sisters Network has been doing some really positive things since its inception and while MC Lyte’s focus for the foundation is to promote positive images of women of ethnic diversity, she is branching out and showing the men some love too with the #EducateOURMen campaign. Providing full academic scholarships to young men who are high school seniors attending HBCU’s. Dillard University and Hip Hop Sisters formed an alliance to open the door for our young men to walk through and be the head and not the tail while on the path of their journey.
MC Lyte has the best of the best working in her circle with her and while she is the face of the Foundation, Lyte has said many times she truly grateful and honored to have them along side her as they all make this awesome journey with her together.
MC Lyte and Lynn Richardson are both authors in their own right. MC Lyte’s book appropriately titled “Unstoppable: Igniting The Power Within To Achieve Your Greatest Potential” is available for purchase as well as Lynn Richardson’s book “Living Check to Monday”. Both books are expertly written and are surely to keep you inspired while you learn that you have the power within you to change your stance and get your finances on point as well.
