Celebs usually buy their assistants and other team members gifts for Christmas. But Jennifer Hudson took it one step further – she gifted her assistant a house!

Oscar winning actress Jennifer Hudson has changed the gifting game by buying her assistant, Walter, a new home for Christmas.

Walter has been assisting Hudson since her pre-American Idol days and her rise to super stardom, and Hudson’s way of saying thanks was a doozy.

Jennifer Presented Walter with a random stack of papers, Walter unknowingly was handed the deed to his new home. Walter and Hudson have been friends since the 6th grade, and Hudson considers him one of her closet pals.

Hudson posted a video on her Instagram page of Walter and his family’s priceless reaction to the extreme act of kindness.
