Its official, gay couples are allowed to marry in the state of Illinois. Today the Illinois House legislation have approved Act with a vote of 61-54. The act will be sent to the senate for minor changes and Gov. Pat Quin states that he will sign it. This is a historic vote and Illinois is among 14 other states that voted to accept gay marriage.
