There was a time when sporting a Beard was considered raggedy and you definitely couldn’t wear one in corporate America because they generally want the fellas clean shaven because it looks more professional as they say.

facial hair is hugely popular across Western Europe, especially in fashion-conscious Paris as well as in Britain and many other African nations.

“To grow a beard takes time and patients you will have to have more confidence in yourself.   Sporting a beard make you look a little older, a bit more mature so people tend to have more respect for you.

Are beards making a comeback? Are they now considered a fashion statement, does it make a man look more manly? Do you think it’s sexy?

The recent beard boom may also lead to the trend’s demise, since most women find facial hair sexy only when it’s a rarity and not everyone is wearing one.

The popularity of beards may be making them less appealing to women. The findings of a study conducted by the university researcher found that women rated beards as most alluring when facial hair was rare, whereas clean-shaven faces gained in popularity when hairy faces were the norm.

Per Ask Men: Both men and women had to rate the faces with varying levels of facial hair growth (clean-shaven, five-day stubble, 10-day stubble and full beards). While guys thought clean shaven looked better than a short, five-day beard, women actually rated smooth faces as the least attractive.
