GEORGIA – Singer Aaron Carter and his girlfriend were arrested in Georgia Saturday night. Carter was released on bond on Sunday afternoon for a DUI and drug related arrest, according to police.
According to the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, Carter’s vehicle was stopped along Georgia 385 near Carpenters Cove after reports of a car driving erratically. A passenger also inside the car was identified as Madison Parker.
Deputies said the couple was en route to North Carolina from Florida. Carter was scheduled to perform in Kansas City that night, tweeting hours before his show that he wouldn’t make it due to “transportation issues.”

Deputies say Carter was arrested on charges of DUI and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana and drug-related objects.
