Are You NOT Surprised!!! Johnson & Dickinson Lied About Bill Cosby According To His Accuser’s Manager

Bill Cosby’s two most prominent accusers, former models Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickinson, both fabricated their claims against Cosby, Johnson’s former manager told The Daily Caller in an exclusive interview.

Newly unearthed information suggests that Dickinson recently changed her story about Cosby to include sexual assault allegations.

Veteran Hollywood talent manager Don Gibble represented Johnson in the early 1990′s, and also says he personally knew Dickinson for more than twenty years.

Johnson recently alleged in a Vanity Fair piece that Cosby drugged her at his home in the mid-1980s after serving her a cup of cappuccino during a period in which Johnson was auditioning for a role on his sitcom. Johnson said that Cosby forcibly threw her, drugged, into a cab.

But Gibble said that Johnson told him her Cosby story many times, and that it only involved one personal meeting: at a pleasant, non-eventful brunch with Cosby and his wife Camille.

“She said she had brunch with him and his wife, and it was a great experience. And then on ‘The View’ it flip-flopped,” Gibble said, referring to Johnson’s recent appearance on the daytime television program.

“It was odd to me that she changed her story. She said [she was] drugged and raped. I just remember that was not the conversation we had. And we had it repeatedly.”

“It was brunch. It was just one time. It was a typical nice pleasant experience,” Gibble said, echoing Johnson’s oft-repeated accounts. ”It can be easily proven that Camille Cosby was at that brunch, so it was kind of dumb for her to lie.”

Johnson “had brunch with him once and then they would run into each other at NAACP awards and premieres,” Gibble said.

Johnson even listed Cosby as one of the Hollywood producers that she had a good relationship with and hoped to work with again.

“When I first met her in the early ’90s I had her make a list of all the producers she had a good experience with so I could call and get her in,” Gibbs said.

Johnson put Cosby on her list.

“Basically, she only had a good experience with him, so if he had been producing something at that time I could have easily called that office and gotten her an appointment.”

“It was ridiculous,” Gibble said, referring to watching Johnson change her story on “The View.” “I thought this was insane.”

Janice Dickinson’s story also changed drastically.

Dickinson recently claimed that Cosby drugged her with a pill and raped her in 1982 in a hotel room in Lake Tahoe.

But according to Gibble, Dickinson said at Hollywood parties “many times” that Cosby made a pass at her in a hotel, which she rejected. Cosby then went to bed without assaulting her, according to Dickinson’s original version of events.

Records demonstrate that Dickinson changed her story.

Dickinson told the San Francisco Examiner in June 2006 that Cosby hit on her in a hotel but that nothing physical happened:

“The self-proclaimed ‘world’s first supermodel” and former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ judge says that she was asked to tone down a section in her 2002 book, ‘No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World’s First Supermodel,’ in which she details an incident where Cosby tried and failed to lure her into his hotel room. Dickinson claims she had dinner with The Cos and after the meal the comedian pulled the ol’ ‘you owe me’ excuse.

While promoting her new book, ‘Check Please! Dating, Mating and Extricating,’ on Howard Stern’s satellite radio show, Dickinson called Cosby a ‘bad guy’ who preys on vulnerable women.”

The New York Observer reported in September 2002 that Cosby “blew her off” after Dickinson rejected his advances:

“‘You really can sing,’ Muddy Waters told her, and she believed him, and believed Bill Cosby when he told her the same lie-that is, until she didn’t want to go to bed with him and he blew her off.”

The Observer quoted an excerpt from Dickinson’s book:

‘Exhausted?’ he asked, and it was clear he was trying hard to keep his temper in check. ‘After all I’ve done for you, that’s what I get? I’m exhausted ….’”

“‘Well gee Bill, if I had known it was going to be like this-’

“He waved both hands in front of my face, silencing me. Then he gave me the dirtiest, meanest look in the world, stepped into his suite, and slammed the door in my face.”

Johnson and Dickinson did not return requests for comment on social media.

Juat because she didn’t tell her manager at the time doesn’t mean she’s lying. She may have been embarrassed, she may have been ashamed and etc. He was an icon and she felt threatened by his position and his influence that doesn’t mean she’s lying. Smh

He wasn an Icon at the time she claimed claimed he raped her. He didn’t get that fame and recognition until the airing of the Cosby Show which started in 1984. She claimed he raped her in 1982. She’s full of it and so are the others. There is no way a white woman would’ve let days let alone all those years go by and she had been raped by this black man. No way period and people need to get over the sorry sympathetic defense of these accusations of rape. I believe Mr Cosby may have slept with these women but I doubt any of it was rape. If anything was swept under the rug it was the fact that he was cheating on his wife with them not rape. In that case the ladies are as much to blame as he is. If you notice the meetings with Cosby were to advance their careers and its nothing new about sleeping your way to the top. Sorry but I don’t buy any of this after all it he was just at beginning of his career. And all of this media hype was really a distraction from the real crap thats going on in our country

Race has nothing to do with it. I was a kid when Bill Cosby had his show Fat Albert and the Gang. Millions of kids watched the show every Saturday morning. That was the height of his career. His was already performing as a comedian in Vegas. So yes I do believe he did these crimes against women. Besides, I thought the Cosby Show show sucked. To me it was not funny at all.

Race has everything to do with these accusations and so does color: GREENE to be exact. If you dig deep enough, you’ll find he may have slept with them all, but it wasn’t rape. They wanted as much from him as he did from them and now they want money because their stash is getting low.

lol, race is always an issue, and if you’re unaware, that’s just your ignorance to the facts Slavery was orchestrated, primarily by whites, but there were disloyal blacks who aided in the systematic capturing, torturing, and sale of their own people for personal gain, hence the term “sellout”.

Actually, he may not have been an icon at that time, but during the late 70′ and early 80’s, he gained quite a reputation for his work in a number of Blaxploitation movies and his hit show, “Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids.” But I agree…I think a number of these stories are made up! I think a black man raping a white woman in those days–regardless of his social or professional status–would’ve received proper justice if reported in a timely manner. A woman should never feel embarrassed if a man forces himself on her–he should be embrassed for being a coward! I don’t know…I’m officially sipping my tea on this topic…smh.

          January 13, 2015 at 11:26 AM

Exactly I agree Shy. He had a reputation back then but he was just famous then the iconic status came along later. And they would’ve done him like they’re doing now times 10 for rape because it was permissible back then to treat blacks like that. But this person was so busy tryna pick my comment apart because I disagreed and sound quite stupid compare to minor typos. For one I didn’t make this a race issue because the alledge rape/ sexual encounter had nothing really to do with race. But the facts of the life of blacks especially black men in the society during the civil rights age was real and about color.

You do not sound stupid; in fact; even though i am white; what you said about the treatment of blacks; in general; esp. men; is very true. I saw several of my black friends treated with unwarranted disrespect; I to relieved a lot of disrespect because of my black friends. Speaking of typos; you should see how often I have to back up and correct a word; very often; partly because I had a stroke and my left hand doesn’t respond as it should. My family almost disowned me because I had more black friends than white; tough; I’d do it all over again. Least the black friends treated me with complete respect and stood up for me when need. I was not accepted by all black but; the ones that did; really stood with and beside me; no one did me any harm esp. when they were around. To this day I still probably have more black friends than white. We all set a higher standards for each other; and do not deviate from them.

But they do feel embarrassed! Are you kidding me? Of course they shouldn’t but they do. And in the 80’s you kept your mouth shut if you wanted a career.

          • Annoymous

            January 13, 2015 at 2:29 PM

Exactly. I was put in a similar position in the late 70’s by an employer who was deemed “famous and powerful.” I have never spoken of the incident since it first happened because the few people I told brushed it off, or alluded to the fact that I wanted it to happen, or met with threats of “you press charges and you’ll be humiliated.” I was a young widow, I had a child to support, and I needed my job. I was called a “liar” or “confused” when it happened, and if I came out with it now…decades later, I’d apparently STILL be called a liar. You NEVER know what really happened unless it happened to you.

I so agree with you. I was sexually assaulted by a few people and it took me 20 years to come out and just tell my mom so that I can begin the healing process. And I wasn’t keeping my mouth shut because I wanted to be famous. I was doing so, because I felt embarrassed and I really didn’t want to admit it to myself.

Thats a difference Stop tryna get people told and get to point damn. That’s why the world is like it is all of the selective listening and half understanding. Talk about the post and stop tryna prove whose right or wrong. This is an open discussion and everyone have opinions. Not all will agree so lets not get petty. Beverly Johnson isn’t a “white woman” so I don’t think race has anything to do with this issue. I don’t however believe he raped any of the women that are claiming he did. I said the same thing that if he was so powerful it surely wasn’t until the 80’s. I think it’s all a bunch of nonsense.

He actually was pretty famous at the time for his show I Spy. Cosby became the first African-American co-star in a dramatic television series and won three Emmys. He had albums out, he was touring for his comedy show, everyone knew who he was and he was a beloved american icon. In 68 he turned down a $3.5 MILLION dollar recording contract. As a regular stand-in host on the Tonight Show, I would say he was pretty famous with a ton of clout. Any upcoming movie star, model, singer, ect would be stupid to expect to confront him or out him and have their career survive.

Yes, that’s where I agree. It seems very fishy that out of this plethora of ‘victims’ not ONE came out at the time. I understand shame and fear playing a role, but that is just too many to keep their mouths shut. I have no doubt that at least SOME of these women have just jumped on the band wagon to get some publicity. Beyond that I will just say that I cannot know what actually happened, with the current information. False accusations can and do happen, and with a celebrity you can expect people to jump on board after an accusation is made, whether the original was true or not. We have seen this before, and no doubt it will happen again. I don’t condemn the women as liars, because they may be telling the truth, and I don’t condemn Mr. Cosby, because he may be falsely accused. It is a charged debate, but I think people that are not directly involved need to stop being so dogmatic. Go with your gut, what feels right to you, but don’t expect everyone else to have reached the same conclusion.

          January 14, 2015 at 1:34 AM

I see I have so many of you intelligent idiots trying to prove me wrong about my statement of Cosby not being an icon because I do not agree with this public media lynching. 1st thing I’m well aware of his celebrity status and fame before the Cosby show. Being a famous black actor really meant nothing to America then or after. Look how long it took for a black person to win an Oscar for best actor or actress its been several that came before Denzel and Hallie but they only allowed the to be nominated for best supporting actress and actor. Ok the definition of icon is a person or thing regarded as a representative symbol of something. Meaning Cosby became an Icon as America’s favorite dad from the character he played on his project the Cosby Show which aired about 10 year I believe but it was the #1 show watched in America for 5 seasons. He was the creator, producer and staring actor of his project and had total rights to everything about it so his financial status, respect and clout shot up then. Before then he was a famous award winning black actor /comedian and activist. With the Cosby Show he proved he was more than just a black actor/ comedian and became very influential entertainer. So there you have it. I know what I’m talking about there’s my facts sweetie. Next my feelings and opinions are my own like yours belong to you. But its a real small minded person that can’t participate in a discussion and state their feelings of the topic an address what one says respectfully. I’ve respected all opinions because I can agree to disagree. But enough is enough when the next person’s opinion is to stoop low enough to tell me what to do. To tell me to stop defending a serial rapist is original for some that cant find enough words to defend. A Serial drug whore and liar Janice Dickinson. The person who self proclaim to be the first supermodel when the 1st supermodel was a model in the 40s. The same slut bag that was lied to Stallone about her kid being his in an attempt to get him to marry her knowing her ex lover was the father. The same dope head that claimed Stallone shot her up with steriods. The same slut bucket that admits to sleeping with half of Hollywood including Jack Nichols where she admits to coming between he and his girlfriend. Dickinson and Johnson are getting paid well for those 30 yr old lies. Yes Johnson net worth is 5 million but 5 million to a high maintenance celebrity is like being on welfare. I personally think she may have slept with him and mad because she got nothing.Cosby has pissed someone off and the are out to destroy him. Like I said I believe he slept with those women and did what he could to protect his marriage but I don’t think it was rape at all. So to all of you nasty people that think your idiocy will change my comment or view sorry it wont. I have a daughter that was raped 12 yrs ago I was there 1st hand to see its still not something easy for her to talk about privately. So I ain’t buying the monkey show that those assholes are displaying. To live a comfortable healthy life without previous mention. No mention in the biographies or anything. U are so ashamed to tell anyone for 30 years but you go staight to the media. BS

Who does that? 3. he is so powerful that you dont go to the police where they will protect you, but you then try to run to mainstream media to sell your story first. 4. You dont want money…but you find Gloria Allred (the media whore and ambulance chaser that represents mistresses and whores who are after a celebrities money) OK…hmmm that sounds quite logical to me. I know this was BS from the moment I heard it. And in addition to that Ms. Beverly Johnson dates billionaire Peter Nygard who is known for human trafficking, rape, assault, and molestation. So she is a hypocrite.

Where did you come up with Bill Cosby didn’t achieve fame and recognition until the “Cosby Show”? You obviously need to do some research before you start posting stuff for the world to see. Otherwise you show your ignorance. If he was just starting his career how could any of them use him to advance theirs? Mr. Cosby achieved ‘recognition and fame’ long ago, before you were born but you didn’t know anything about him until you saw him on the tv. I bet you’re one of the ones who say Kayne West is gonna make Paul McCarthy famous too.

But the key to understanding reading is comprehending what is written not mind reading or depending on you own thoughts as being what is meant by whats written. To do that shows real ignorance. I mean to access a person’s age and actions because your understanding is limited by being programmed selective reception of knowledge or info.

This is a re post of a previous comment but I see I need to repeat what I said. Look how long it took for a black person to win an Oscar for best actor or actress. It had been several that came before Denzel and Hallie, but they were only allowed the to be nominated for best supporting actress and actor. Now the definition of icon is a person or thing regarded as a representative symbol of something. Meaning Cosby became an Icon as America’s favorite dad from the character he portrayed on his project the Cosby Show which aired about 10 year I believe and it was the #1 show TV series watched in America for 5 seasons or so. He was the creator, producer and staring actor of his own project and had total rights to everything about it so his financial status, respect and clout shot up then. Before then he was a famous award winning black actor /comedian and activist with money. The Cosby Show he proved he was more than just a black actor/ comedian. He became a very popular and influential entertainer. So there you have it. I know what I’m talking about there’s my facts sweetie. Next my feelings and opinions are my own like yours belong to you. But its a real small minded person that can’t participate in a discussion and state their feelings of the topic and stay on topic while addressing what one says respectfully. I’ve respected all opinions because I can agree to disagree. But enough is enough when the next person’s opinion is the accessing of my age and actions not of the topic or to stoop low enough to tell me what I need to do. Smh… to tell me to stop defending a serial rapist is so original for some that cant find enough words to defend a serial drug whore liar like Janice Dickinson and Beverly Johnson who dated and live in criminal oh wait she also seek Cosby work with him many times. Hmm… sounds like assault vitcims huh? Dickinson is the person who claims to be the first supermodel when the 1st supermodel was a model around in the 40’s. The same slut bag that was lied to Stallone about her kid being his in an attempt to get him to marry her knowing her ex lover was the father. The same dope head that claimed Stallone shot her up with steriods. The same slut bucket who openly admitted to randomly sleeping with half of Hollywood in an interview in 2008, including Jack Nichols where she admits to coming between he and his girlfriend. Dickinson and Johnson are getting paid well for those 30 year old lies. Before the defense of Johnson come up claiming that she had money. I know Johnson’s net worth is 5 million but 5 million to a high of what? Its not 5 million in money but all that she have. Besides that 5 million to a high maintenance celebrity is like being on welfare. I personally think she may have slept with him. She may have been a mistress who knows and who really cares. She’s mad because she got what she wanted though.Cosby has pissed someone off and the are out to destroy him. They are succeeding but he’s not over. Like I said before I believe he slept with those women and did what he could to protect his marriage but I don’t think none of it was rape at all. So to all of you nasty people that think your idiocy will change my comment or views sorry it wont. I have a daughter that was raped 12 yrs ago. I was there 1st hand to see how it has affected her and its still not something easy for her to talk about privately. So tell me how would an ashamed person take their deepest fears and humiliation straight to the media 30yrs later with out a cause? I’m not buying the monkey show that those assholes are displaying. To live a comfortable healthy life without previous mention and no mention in biographies or interviews. They are out for the mighty dollar. Wait I didn’t address this being a racial issue. It indeed is but its not by the accusers but the ones behind reputation and career killing of Mr Cosby this public media lynching. Lynchings use to consist of whites only now we have the self proclaimed intelligent negros joining the lynch mob. Careful people this could be the start of something and you may end up in shoes much like Mr Cosby

Cosby’s career didn’t “start” in 1984. He was a very well know comedian and actor from the late 60s forwards, appearing in movies with Sydney Poitier and several television shows, along with headlining in Vegas as a stand-up. Yes, the Cosby Show made him a cultural icon, but he was already very well connected and influential before the 1980s.

This is a re-post. No offense to you but I do know about Cosby’s career. I’m this because I said a lot to explain what I meant. Because this is like the 100th time this discussion has been about correcting my comment instead of discussing feelings and views of the topic.

The iconic status came from portrayin america’s favorite dad. The definition of icon is a person or thing regarded as a representative symbol of something. If that is truly what you believe … human nature plays a different role if you are embarrassed then yes you wouldn’t tell your manager and again you would not list the person as someone you would like to work with in the future. Whatever the motive is the obvious is present there are lies and untruths that are being stated by people that may have been shunned or people who need to bolster there reputations to make money. Mr Cosby is correct in being silence as it does not pronounce guilt but in society today the media misquotes and blow up events to make money and to build a reputation and as usual the public is gullable … Fasts – why wait so long to reveal this information? What is gained by this information? What proof is there that this occurred? None but everyone is quick to label and treat Mr Cosby as a criminal … major problem in society … you are guilty until proven innocent is the trend. Shallow minded people need to look at the facts and not believe everything that is stated especially in the media …

Thank you! Cosby could be paying these people to try to discredit these women. Why didn’t the come out when these women first told their stories? They are the ones who sound
like they are lying to me.

      • Dri

        January 13, 2015 at 11:36 AM

And someone could be paying these women to ruin Cosby. We could also be asking about why these women come out when they first first “raped”. Just how some of these women were “scared” to come forward, this person could have been “scared” to come forward also.

Happened to me in the 70’s. Famous and rich person was the perpetrator. I needed my job to support my child as I was a war widow. When I mentioned it to anyone I was told to not mention it if I knew what was good for me. When a person was raped back in the 70’s SHE was the one who had to face all the humiliation, especially if she was poor, and her rapist had the means to hire a crack legal team. Women on the stand were degraded and humiliated when they stood up against their accusers. THAT is why so many women didn’t tell their stories when they were first raped. Before calling anyone a liar, read some history of rape…read some old court documents and see how the women were degraded and humiliated in the courtroom during that time. Do some research on how many women stayed silent. It’s easier to come out with your story when you learn you weren’t the only victim of a perpetrator…you feel like there is safety in numbers, and that you’ll finally be believed if it happened to others. Sadly it’s the year 2014 and women are still being called liars.

    • Shynia

      January 13, 2015 at 10:46 AM

But even if she was embarrassed to tell her manager, why would she add him to a list of producers that she liked? If he violated you in such a way as you claim, why would you feel comfortable enough to possibly have the chance to work with him? I’m not saying she’s lying, but I can only hope that these “prominent accusers” aren’t attempting to become relevant again by embellishing their stories!

And Beverly Johnson too…she kept running into him and speaking to him and being photographed with him, not avoiding him at all cost. And she did play a role on his show as one of Claire’s friend, I believe it was at a book club, but it was a small role and she was never asked back…and I don’t remember seeing her in anything else, so evidently she’s not THAT good an actress…most models aren’t.

This man has brought out proof of these Thots lying for attention & possibly money & still you &-others are incline to believe their dirty little lies!!!! Tell me this;”Why is it Soooooooooooo easy to believe a growing group of has been, over the hill wanted to be actresses & models, who many didn’t even make it out of waitressing, then the truth when it’s slapping you right in your face?!!!!” I cannot believe that none of you have been privy to someone lying on someone else in your lives!!!! Well let me tell you, “It happens everyday” & all you have to do is read about all of the false allegation pressed against people by vindictive individuals out for revenge!!!! Just check out all of the men (Especially of Color) who continue to be vindicated, after spending years behind bars for rapes that they did not comment, just because it’s said, doesn’t mean that it really happened!!!! And for all of you who believe that this is actually helping a real rape victim, I can tell you from experience, It Is not, this right here can do nothing but hurt the strives & accomplishments that has already been made through the law & is only going to set back these strives & accomplishments 50 years or more!!!! It really sickens me how easy a lie can spread without proof or validation, But the truth is received with lack luster reception!!!! If it’s my truth, then I don’t have to read it from any scripts, I would know it from the depths of my soul & if each of them are all reading from a script the things that happened to them, 20, 30, 40 & 50 years ago what kind of actress wouldn’t have learned that line in all of these years?!!!!

If you listen to these interviews and do research on the subject matter, it all adds up to lies. Johnson lied on the View and Dickinson not only lied but lied horribly. It’s sad that people would believe such garbage with no actual evidence. If multiple females get together and say “He raped me”, others will believe it before asking real questions. Let’s see what happens when someone has the decency to go on television to say it was all a lie. Money is what these women are after because they haven’t done anything in years. Why wouldn’t they lie. You get camera time, you get paid off, and you get to go home with thousands of people on your side. sick

Johnson is far from broke. She still making money on her products. She doesn’t get a dime for speaking and last time I checked victims usually don’t confine in a Manger, when did they become priests?

How can it be proven when the statue of limitations are up and back then people didn’t believe women and blame them most of the time.

Eventually the truth will come out one day, not sure who’s lying, but it will all come out. The Female That Was On Law And Order before Ice T took her spot said Bill did something to her as well. It will all come out one day.

Didn’t she file for bankruptcy recently? I doubt very seriously that she didn’t get paid for her television appearances/ interviews. At very least she would have gotten non-union wages, but I’m sure her story is worth much more. Lastly, it’s one thing to not tell your manager, but quite another to speak so highly of an individual that raped you and to look for ways to work with that person again. Lastly, lots of the women in these cases said that they confided in their managers and lawyers. Only one went to the police and that was a year after the incident.

        January 13, 2015 at 11:21 AM

Beverly Johnson’s net worth is 5 million dollars . Thats not how much money she has in the bank, this also includes assets. If you are trying to live a lifestyle of the rich and famous you need more than a net worth of 5 million. Bill Cosbys net worth is 350 million, you do the math.

Fyi….Beverly Johnson’s boyfriend that she is currently dating, is a rapist (loom is up).She is still with him.

Why would you tell your manager anything about that? She would only tell, maybe, a good friend who she trusted and given that this dude had known her for twenty years yet is on here calling her a liar why should we believe that she considered him a friend? You know what I would do if a friend came up to me and told me this had happened to them years ago? Stand by them. Maybe apologize for the fact that I didn’t make them comfortable enough to know that they didn’t have to deal with this awfulness alone. This dude isn’t a friend she would confide in, he is simply a stranger she has known for twenty years. She was his paycheck for awhile. That’s all.

      January 13, 2015 at 9:07 AM

First, a number of the women said that they confided in their managers and their lawyers. When your showbiz career is involved, that is probably a person you would go to. Even if it wasn’t to confide, you’d definitely (I would think) not say glowing things about the person who you felt drugged you and could have possibly raped you. Even more, I’m thinking that you wouldn’t tell your agent to find more gigs with that person. They may or may not have been friends, but if he was her manager for a number of years, there had to be some level of respect. Managers / agents are easily fired.

All rape accusations are lies if you ask me. He might have slept with them but it wasn rape. Only these sad sick judmental idiots believe 15 plus women and a former NBC employee would come forth about rape 30yrs later after he had made an anonymous bid to purchase NBC. The former employee claims to have money orders receipts for paying those ladies off. Call me crazy but I thought if you help participate in a crime knowing it was a crime you are called an accomplice. So why isn’t his behind under fire for rape with Mr Cosby? 1) he’s white 2) it wasn’t rape 3) the wanna discredit the reputation of the world’s well loved dad that just so happen to be black. 4) How dare this man(black) come in and try to buy in to NBC. And he was also about to air an online network. They already knew that the hidden crap they do like those disgraceful judgments for the Micheal Brown and Eric Garner cases were foul so the distraction was to turn negative attention on Cosby and have our so called intelligence occupied while the police came up with other reasons to shoot and kill unarmed blacks and use 40yr old law to get thing dismissed. All of it was crap

You really should do a bit of research about past decades and how the majority of women NEVER told anyone about their attacker, but then were finally able to deal with it years and years later. As you said, you have every right to your own opinion, but you may want to try take a little time and learn about how women in the 70’s an even the 80’s were treated when they accused someone of rape before you say they are making it up just because they didn’t press charges years ago. I was raped by my powerful boss in the 70’s, and I was convinced by THE POLICE that it was in my best interest not to press charges, especially when they learned I was accusing someone “rich and powerful.” They humiliated me when I was in the station attempting to press charges, and pointed out I’d be in for more of the same if I tried to pursue it. Even my own family members told me it was best something kept to myself, because I had a child to support, and I needed the job. And you know what I had to go into an office and work with him every day until I was able to secure another job so that I could feed my family. So I buried it all and never mentioned it again until I was in therapy TWENTY years later. I’m sure someone from that time could look back and say “but she came to work for 3 months after she said it happened. I watched her have conversations with the person she accused, so she must be LYING or she would have said something back then!” People who never had it happen to them can say whatever they want, and say “Well if it happened to me I would have…” but until it happens to you you have NO IDEA what you would do. Just hope hope it never does happen to you.

I’m sorry to tell u but your family failed u. Who tells their family member that money is more important than anything else especially your sanity. If u were a widower u didn’t have benefits to survive off until u found another job. I would have been a maid living with my mom while I starved a rags for clothes with one pair of shoes so my child could have everything to be taken care of before I took dirty money from that batard ever again. I hope your child isn’t taught to keep their mouth shut to get dirty money for what they need. I hope they learned that when there is a will there is a way when one door shut one will always open. Put your child in therapy too because it seem u might have been parenting from a broken place which is never good if you are in therapy and bringing that up twenty years later. Best wishes

But keep the discussion as a discussion on the topic being talked about a plead your case like an adult. But thumbing through my comment and making belittling remakes is not gonna change my mind. “We also talked with Mr. Gibble and looked into his background. Ms. Johnson says she has no memory of this man who claims to have managed her from 1992-1994. Mr. Gibble was unable to provide any documentary evidence that such a relationship existed. Mr. Gibble gave us the name of a casting agent he said could corroborate his claims but, despite multiple attempts, using multiple numbers over the past two days, CNN has been unable to reach her.

“As with Mr. Burk, Mr. Gibble admits he did not know Ms. Johnson at the time the alleged incident occurred. And like Mr. Burk, our research shows Mr. Gibble also has a criminal history. Indeed, he is a convicted felon — a detail you again omitted in your prior correspondence. CNN learned around the time period he claims he was managing Ms. Johnson, Gibble was tried and convicted for receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit the robbery of a former client, for whom he spent two years in prison . . . ”

There is no way they would wait until this long to say something. Cosby has been an Icon for sometime now. And people want me to believe that at the height of his career they wouldn’t have went after his money. In 1982 Dickinson was a “Supermodel” and Cosby was your regular black actor. Not an Icon they could have ended his career and got paid. And no one would have batted an eye in Hollywood because at the time the racial lines in Hollywood where still very distinct. By 1987-88 Cosby was at the height of his stardom which only would have been 5 years after the alleged rape. This is the same woman that cheated on Stallone and had a baby by another guy, the same woman that said Stallone shot her up with steroids for no apparent reason.

This it’s going to sound really harsh, but our Constitution gives everyone the right of innocence until proven guilty. That being said I ask, it’s it Bill Cosby’s fault that these allegations too late for his guilt to be proven?

Thus, he is innocent. All of the other stuff is speculation and one person’s weird against another person’s.

  22. Jack

    January 13, 2015 at 4:42 PM

wow the “proof” that she is lying now is that this isn’t what she told her manager.
No it couldn’t possibly be that she was lying THEN in order to further her career.
Now that her career is in its downturn and she has nothing to gain why would what’s her motivation. Everyone defending Cosby with no other proof than their love of their memory of him are pathetic.

And even if Dickinson and Johnson ARE lying, anyone taking this as “proof” of Cosby’s innocence are like evolution deniers that ignore a flood of evidence and instead focus on one problem.

Is it okay for someone to accuse you of something and we all believe the accuser by default? Oh, my bad, maybe it’s only Cosby that shouldn’t have rights. January 16, 2015 at 11:59 AM

Amen…I agree with u.I am not buying it either. They were scared, no one would believe me, they were embarrassed etc… BS. If u automatically assume that no one would believe you…then that says something about you. ..you are probably a liar. If u are telling the truth someone will believe you.

There are thousands of men in jail who were falsely accused…someone believed those stories and they were lies.

And they are so embarrassed. ..but they choose to run to mainstream media to tell their stories in front of millions instead of the police and the hospital or a crisis center that would keep things confidential???

And yeah…they don’t want money but Gloria Allred is asking for 100 million dollars???Who is paying Gloria Allred..and you run to Vanity Fair to sell your story.

As for this victim blaming bullshit… guess what you the so called victim is accusing someone of a crime. ..so you are subjected to any questions about your story ….what is the problem with asking questions of someone accusing someone if a crime? Are people supposed to just take your word for it because u say so? Since you claim that this man raped you and u continued to date him for years aftet…and let him continue to rape other women…makes you worse than the rapist…and you are now an accomplice in the crime and your ads should be put in jail…

I bet you if there was a penalty for false reporting and not reporting a rape when happens more women will speak up when they are actually “raped”.

And this fiasco does not help women….it makes women look bad. How about being proactive and tell women to stay out of a married man’s hotel room and private home when his wife is not there. How about telling women if a man violates u to report him and or stay away from him. How about telling women to work hard and not use men to try and advance their career.

That is how you help women…

Some of these comments are so horrible. Especially toward the women who said in this forum that they were raped and understood how hard it would be for the women to come forward. I’ve never been raped but I can show some empathy for these women. I am so very sorry that you had to go through that. To the person who said that the lady’s family failed her and she wouldn’t take the man’s dirty money and that her child needed to see a shrink because she would have had to be a bad parent…COME ON!!!! What kind of human are you? You are just as bad as the man who raped her. Well that is a bit harsh but here you go judging a woman who’s a VICTIM. This is the exact reason people keep their mouths shut. I’m not saying Mr Cosby did or didn’t rape these women. I wasn’t there and some stories don’t add up, but don’t let your emotions cause you to cry down a person who had no support and believed that she was doing what was best for her family. Of all the harsh comments in this forum…that one shook me.

You ppl are acting like this accusations were just made. Cosby has been accused of this for 10 years by mostly the same women. Why it just warranted media attention is beyond me. Also calling someone an “evil man who prays on vunarable women (2002)” Sounds very a lot like calling him a rapist and not someone who went to his room after rejection.

    • Anonymous

      January 16, 2015 at 12:49 PM

Hello…The woman in 2004 who accused him of drugging and digitally perpetrating her …Also ram to the media first. …then reports this to the Canadian police over a year after she claimed it happened…her story had no merit. ..so she was really going to get him…so she then files a civil suit requesting 150G in damages…and she claimed at the time she had 13 Jane Does who would testify…again who also had never reported their accusations to the police..

The story about the drugging was public as there was a lawsuit…which means $$$$ that’s when half the women started coming out saying me tooo..u know why because anyone who had a relationship with Cosby created their own version of the rape and drug story and then started going public.

Since the first one got money because they settled the others were not needed to testify which is they started running to press …The story is out there that is why they all tell a similar story…and more and more women are jumping on the bandwagon. ..even one of those women are on record for extorting him….and at least 7 of them are in question for the inconsistencies in there stories.

In addition. ..The first one who got paid…layer admitted that Cosby did not drug and molest her…and she was 31…so molestation of a 31 year old woman sounds a bit ridiculous doesn’t it? Especially when you also admit that you were having an affair 2 years prior to the incident and after.

It is clear that it was a consensual affair…so if the first one admitted that their was no drugging etc…then what does that tell you about the other stories that are based if the first one?

It is all lies. That’s why no one went to the police or the hospital. .because their would have been no drugs in their system or signs of rape….well except Barbara Bowman…who in her daily mail story claims that she was sent to the lab by her manager to get a test and it all cell back negative. ..

      And the charade continues.

    January 15, 2015 at 1:44 PM

Just a question that no one can really answer… but if all of these women, some that never became famous or even known, just wanted $, why didn’t they tell their stories then? He had the $$ THEN and possibly could’ve gone to jail if the allegations were true, which now there’s no proof. I understand they may not want to tell due to embarrassment, feeling ashamed, and even if they were trying to start or save their own careers. If they just wanted $ though they could’ve gotten it years ago, he’s been rich for quite a while. They didn’t know when it happened that he would have such a lucrative career. If it’s true, I just wish they would have told sooner so no one else would have the same experience.

    • Anonymous

      January 15, 2015 at 2:07 PM

Like I said, I understand the reasons women don’t want to tell but there are so many more reasons to tell their stories. If any of them went to the police and the hospital they would’ve collected any possible DNA samples, in the 80’s at least. The first rape conviction using DNA evidence was in Florida, 1987. So if 1 out of 30 something accusers would’ve taken that step they could’ve prevented years of pain for many other women. U would think at least 1 of them would have done that. If it happened to me I would be so angry, first thing I’m doing is calling 911 and going to the hospital. I would make it my mission to take the bastard down. Then! Not years later!
