EarHustle411 is completely stunned at the latest passing of an entertainment icon. We are saddened to report that Alan Thicke, father of singer Robin Thicke has died at age 69 years old. The news of his death was reported by TMZ and according to ABC his death was conformed by Thicke’s publicist. Alan Thicke played Dr. Jason Seaver in the hit TV show Growing Pains which starred child actors Kirk Cameron, Tracy Gold and Jeremy Miller. The show ran from 1985 to 1992. Thicke was most known for his role on Growing Pains but that is not all he has done in his career. He has been hosts of several game shows, a talk show host as well as an accomplished singer.
Thicke often collaborated with musical theme songs with composer Gloria Loring and he was constantly making appearances on numerous television programs.
It is reported Alan had a heart attack while engaging in a sports like activity with his son Carter and was transported to the hospital where is eventually passed on.
Alan Thicke is survived by his wife Tanya Callau, three sons Brennan, Robin and Carter and a brother Todd Thicke and a multitude of friends, family and fans who will certainly miss his many contributions to the entertainment industry and charitable efforts.
