Yandy Smith Of LHHNY Posts Encouraging Message From Her Incarcerated Hubby Mendeecees Harris

“Love & Hip Hop New York” couple Yandy Smith and her husband, Mendeecees Harris, are one of those couples that appear to be so in love. Mendeecees is currently serving an 8-year-sentence for his role in a drug trafficking ring that moved large amounts of cocaine from New York City to Rochester, NY. However, Yandy has made it clear she is standing by her man as he serves his time.

Yandy appeared to be struggling with something and her husband sent her a message to encourage his wife.

In a screenshot shared on Instagram, Mendeecees wrote, “God will make a way for us..no worrying, we are too strong to give up. NEVER will I, so I’m not letting u, keep ur faith and everything will work out in our favor cause no one can stop god plans…we came this far. I love u and I’ll call u later!”

Yandy shared the message to her Instagram, captioning the photo, “Why I love Him #mystrength #whenimnotstrongenough #heholdsmycrownforme #sheeeesh #builtstrong.”

Fans commented on Mendeecees loving message to Yandy and also sent their love and support:

User missoneofme wrote, “I so love y’all @yandysmith your other half says No…keep pushing baby….you haven’t come this far for nothing….He is holding your 👑 when u want to let go…get your hand up there and straighten it back up…you got this… Pray honey if all else is failing in your eyes.”
And chanelle_world, wrote, “Yandy you came to far with all your hard work and effort to let it go to waste. Don’t you ever feel defeated because of your encouraging acts, strong movements, power, and peace a lot of us are able to believe God has a plan and he’s not done with it yet… You are not alone…. Stay strong and blessed keep fighting… the battle is not over because God got a wonderful plan for us…love you @yandysmith #myrolemodel.”

There is possibly some good news on the horizon for the adorable couple. New reports suggest that Mendeecees could be receiving an early release in exchange for his community services with the youth. The reality star would reportedly be talking to children and young adults about the dangers of drugs.

Mendeecees Harris’ lawyer filed a motion this past week seeking a reduction of his 8-year sentence for drug-trafficking to 5.2 years.

Mendeecees’ lawyer pointed out his client has had no disciplinary issues during his incarceration and he’s participated in several programs available to him through the Bureau of Prisons, including: Rehabilitation Oriented Programs (parenting programs, financial programs), Adult Continuing Education Courses, Health and Nutrition Courses, and he’s enrolled in the Residential Drug Addiction Program.
