The World Is Still Praying For A Miracle For Bobbi Kristina Brown While A Criminal Investigation Continues

Roswell, Georgia, Police have confirmed that they have classified last week’s incident involving Bobbi Kristina Brown as a criminal investigation.

That has always been the case, a spokesperson said in a statement Wednesday.

“The Roswell Police Criminal Investigation Division, who is investigating the incident, conducts criminal investigations,” Lisa Holland, the Roswell public information officer, said in a statement to ABC News. “The incident has always been under criminal investigation and has not been reclassified as a criminal investigation. Criminal investigations may or may not result in criminal charges being brought against individuals.”

“This remains an active investigation and the Roswell Police has no further statement or information to release at this time,” the statement concluded.

Brown, 21, remains hospitalized in Atlanta after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31. Max Lomas, a friend of Brown, who, according to the police report, was in the home along with Brown’s partner Nick Gordon, when she was found, said last week through a lawyer that he’s been cooperating with police.

“Mr. Lomas has not been accused of anything in connection with Bobbi Kristina Brown’s injuries and is a witness in this investigation,” his lawyer said. “Mr. Lomas’ main focus is on Ms. Brown’s full recovery and he continues to pray for her and her entire family throughout this tragedy.”

Gordon has not responded to repeated requests for comment.

Meanwhile, Brown’s family, including her father, Bobby Brown, and her maternal grandmother, Cissy Houston, have been by her side in the hospital. On Monday night, hundreds of people gathered for a vigil to pray for her, and yesterday, her father thanked fans for their support.

“God is hearing our prayers,” Brown told ABC News in a statement. “We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina.”
