Woman’s Body And Car Found Burned In Chicago’s Gresham Neighborhood Alley

This story has me really amazed as it truly has hit home and my “Househead” Family is devastated by the news.    The body of Sherita Smith was found burning inside a car in an alley in the Gresham neighborhood,  while the investigation is still being done, it is truly a significant loss.

Although I did not know Sherita personally, I can tell just from the photos posted on Facebook by my friends who knew her that she was a person with a wonderful personality and a beautiful spirit.  If anyone knows how the “House” Community operates,  there is nothing but love and you don’t have to know everyone personally, it’s the love for the music that makes you family.

House DJ Hula Malone has compiled images of Sherita Smith and it confirms that she was loved, respected and admired by many.

REST IN “HOUSE” HEAVEN SHERITA SMITH

The loss of this woman, a beautiful young woman who was loved by everyone that she came across should shake the very core of everyone.   Her friends and family has expressed she was a sheer joy to be around and when you are around people who bring joy to the atmosphere, the thought of doing any harm to them would be unfathomable.  I personally feel the pain of the family, to lose a loved one at the hands of someone else is not a feeling I would want anyone to experience.

EarHustle411 send our condolences, love and prayers to the family of Sherita Smith and to all those who knew and loved her.  We ask God to give everyone the strength to endure through their grief.  We will keep you updated as information is released.

Smith worked with disabled children at the Chicago Park District. Before that she worked for Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind.

“My oldest daughter,” Rosetta Smith, mother, sobbed. “Oh, dear God, why? Dear God, why?”
