WGN’s Dean Richards Talks With Chicago’s Young People About The Movie Chi-Raq

The movie Chi-Raq’s opening in theaters was on Friday, December 4, 2015 and there has been so much controversy about the fill and its “non representation” of what is truly going on in Chicago.   WGN’s Dean Richards says that the criticism of the movie came from “old white men” and it bothered him because the responses about the movie did not represent those who are affected by the gun violence on the streets of Chicago.

WGN along with Rhymefest along with the performing arts program at Donda’s House set up a screening of the movie and afterwards has a small group of movie goers share their feelings on the film.
