The Chicago police officer charged with murder in the shooting death of Laquan McDonald is now working for the Fraternal Order of Police.
Jason Van Dyke is working for the F.O.P as he awaits trial, WGN has learned.
A source tells WGN Van Dyke will be doing janitorial work for the police union.
The shooting of McDonald, which was caught on police dash cam, led to weeks of protests and demonstrations in Chicago.
