A developing tragedy is taking place in New York, where a hospital shooting has killed at least one person dead and several doctors wounded.
The suspect in the case has been identified as Henry Bello, who appears to be a doctor in the hospital’s family medicine department. He’s reported to have taken his own life with the assault rifle he brought with him into the building.

“This would appear, preliminarily,” said a former NYPD police chief during the events, “to be a former employee dressed in a hospital jacket similar to what you would see a doctor wearing, who is familiar with the hospital, which makes the situation a lot more problematic.”
Current reports indicate that 6 people have been wounded, including the deceased.

One of the stories coming from the scene at the hospital claims an injured doctor was able to use an emergency fire hose as a tourniquet to save his life.
The incident took place on the 16th and 17th floors of the hospital. Mixed reports are coming from callers to news stations, but for now, it does seem like the danger is over. Stay Tuned.
