The BOLD Move Event 2017 Emphasizes Generational Collaboration

 

CHICAGO, September 18th, 2017 — The BOLD Move Event 2017 has adapted its annual theme: Made to Work Together o create greater collaboration among entrepreneurs of all ages.

The BOLD Move Event will be held on October 20-21, 2017 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Alsip, Illinois. The event includes workshops on confronting fear, identifying strengths, traditional and non-traditional financing options, building a team and more. The event culminates in an awards luncheon honoring female entrepreneurs, advocates, and authors with special emphasis on those over 50.

Michele Aikens, host of the event notes, “When the job markets rebounded after the recession many of those over 50 still found themselves at the bottom of the hiring barrel while needing income to put children through college and pay mortgages. Now visionaries are choosing entrepreneurship as a first choice rather than a last resort and we want to help.

that provide support and mixed expertise.”

The BOLD Move Event is the brainchild of Michele Aikens, CEO of Sepia Prime Communications & Consulting. Aikens
lost her job as a magazine publisher in 2009. Unable to find work, she started a consulting business to help women
over 50 re-create themselves as business owners or consultants after a job loss or major setback. Since that time the
company has worked with men and women, both over and under 50, to create the message of self-empowerment and entrepreneurship after a job loss.
