They claimed the Chicago Cubs were to young to be here and they were not seasoned enough well Chi Town Cubs proved the naysayers wrong.  Not only are they supposed to be in this series but Ear Hustle 411 believes strongly that they will win the World Series.

Jake Arietta only allowed four hits in nine incredible innings and the cubs walked away with a 4-0 win over the Pittsburg Pirates during the NL Wild Card game on Wednesday evening.

Arrieta the man with the golden arm struck out 11 without a walk. leading the Cubs to the NL Division Series in St. Louis beginning on Friday.

Pirates utility player Sean Rodriguez,  was ejected and proceeded to give a water cooler a series of one two knock out combinations, eventually knocking it to the ground out of frustration.

Per NY daily news, Pittsburgh had no such luck against Arrieta, with manager Clint Hurdle seemingly flummoxed on how to get to attack a right-hander who has matured from raw project into overpowering force.

Arrieta retired 10 straight at one point, his only real wobbles coming in the sixth and seventh. Pittsburgh loaded the bases with one out behind a single, a hit batter and an error.

his time it was Arrieta’s turn, perhaps a more alarming development considering the Pirates will spend a large portion of the next decade trying to keep up with Schwarber, Bryant and Russell as well as the Cardinals in the hyper-competitive NL Central. St. Louis led the majors with 100 wins.
