The things you see when people get evicted from their residences. An alligator was put out right alongside the renter. Fortunately the 13-inch reptile was released to Animal Control. Now I wonder where the tenant is going to go? Hmmmmpf…talking about special privileges!!!

Small alligator found during South Side eviction
A small alligator was found in a Chatham neighborhood apartment as the tenant was being evicted Wednesday morning, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s office.
The 13-inch alligator was found when eviction deputies were enforcing a court-ordered eviction about 8:40 a.m. in the 8200 block of South Vernon Avenue, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
The animal was found in an aquarium in the apartment’s dining room.
The person being evicted was at the apartment at the time, but was not cited or charged, according to the release.
The alligator was turned over to Animal Care and Control. A spokesman for animal control was not immediately available Wednesday evening.
