The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast has been accused of many things over the years, from spreading rumors to man-stealing, but Derek J may take the cake for ridiculous accusations now that he’s at the center of a lawsuit for allegedly stealing hair. Yes, you read that right.

In a clip from the upcoming episode of RHoA, Derek heads over toPhaedra Parks’ office to see if she can work her legal magic on this crazy case.

Derek explains that he was recently confronted by a marshall outside his salon, who served him with a lawsuit claiming that he had encouraged his team to steal fake hair from a client.

The plaintiff in the case claims in court documents, “I had my sew-in taken out to be reinstalled. Derek led his team to steal my hair, then Derek installed used … cheap hair in my head. He (Derek) also encouraged other stylists to steal my hair.”

Derek adamantly denies these claims, saying that the entire issue is nothing more than a misunderstanding, which Phaedra seems to have no doubt about.

“This is just the type of case that is hinged upon someone trying to come up off of Derek’s hard work and success,” she says.
