An arrest has been made in connection to the disappearance of a 3-year-old girl from Jacksonville, according to the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office.
Earl Kimrey, 32, was taken into custody by investigators on Friday. Kimrey has been charged with: concealing of death obstruction of justice, second degree burglary, felony larceny, and possession of stolen property.
Based on evidence gathered throughout the investigation, authorities say they have reason to believe that Mariah Kay Woods is deceased.
Kimrey is currently being held in the Onslow County Detention Center under a $1,010,000 bond. Additional charges could be brought against Kimrey as the investigation continues.
At this time, the location of Mariah is still unknown. The searches will now shift to a recovery process.
