Remember When Lil Momma Crashed the stage during the 2009 MTV Video Music Award when Jay-Z and Alicia Keys were performing “Empire State of Mind” Jay-Z was pissed at the total disrespect she had for his performance. Well, Lil Mama is at it again.
Lil Mama posted a pic from that infamous 2009 VMAs stage crashing moment. With a photo of her and Jay-Z onstage after that performance, she included a caption that read, “IM STILL STANDING WIT YOU …HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOV #BROOKLYN”
She then went a step further which many feels she went a little too far by posting a seductive picture with caption “Happy Birthday” for Jay-Z on social media sending his fans in a frenzy. Lil Mama, you could have text him, send an email or maybe a birthday card. His fans are dragging her on the internet because of the picture she chose to send.
Lil Mama is used to controversey but many are questioning why would she embarrass herself once again not only by disrespecting the Rap Icon but to disrespect his wife as well.
Some people are less than understanding. One Instagram user commented, “Did you not hear what him and Alicia said about you in their interviews!? You really reminding people of this L you took!” Another person wrote, “Girl! You should have kept this photo to yourself! I remember you really played yourself! Stop trying to be in his circle, especially since you finally was on the road of creating your own… This just put you back again!”

“My last post was Intended to acknowledge growth,” she wrote in a new post of a solo Jay. “That night, two of my hometown Heros felt disrespected and in return I felt neglected. However, time heals all and give us the gift of hindsight (20/20 vision) where we can see things clearer, learn and grow from them. Even having to overcome the scrutiny that came with my choices, I still find it in my heart to forgive and LOVE in Hopes That it is returned upon me.”
