Kim Kardashian’s Vogue dream has finally come true. After months and months of speculation, the reality starlet covers the April issue of the high-end fashion magazine in the arms of her husband-to-be, Kanye West.
Kardashian, 33, stuns in a white gown resembling a wedding dress just ahead of the couple’s upcoming nuptials slated for this May in Paris, France. The gorgeous shots were taken by famous photographer Annie Leibovitz.
“This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! OMGGGGGG!!! I can’t even,” Kardashian tweeted Friday along with a pic of the magazine.
“#TRILL Thank you @voguemagazine,” West wrote to his followers.
In a behind-the-scenes video released by Vogue, the power duo can be seen posing while gazing into each other’s eyes, much like their racy music video for West’s “Bound 2” track. Their 9-month-old daughter North West even makes an adorable cameo appearance.
Kardashian rocks not one, but two elegant white gowns in the issue that named her and the 36-year-old rapper the “#WORLDSMOSTTALKEDABOUTCOUPLE.”
While this is the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star’s first ever Vogue Cover, West believed his girl deserved the honor long before now.
“There’s no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover of Vogue. She’s like the most intriguing woman right now. She’s got Barbara Walters calling her like every day,” he told Ryan Seacrest in an October 2013 interview. “And collectively, we’re the most influential with clothing,” he added.
