Celebrity Justin Timberlake 2018 Super Bowl Halftime Show Is Allegedly Featuring A Prince Hologram By Cee Cee Posted on February 3, 2018 Share Tweet Share Share Email Comments photo by Kevin Mazur/Getty Images; Prince photo by Kristian Dowling/Getty Images Justin Timberlake is scheduled to give the Super Bowl Halftime show tomorrow night at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, with fans wondering whether he’ll try to reform his old boy band *NSYNC or bring out Janet Jackson to echo his first Super Bowl show back in 2004. New reports indicate that Timberlake’s set will feature neither of those things, but it will include a previous Super Bowl Halftime performer. According to TMZ, the halftime show will feature a hologram of Prince, honoring the late musician in his hometown. Prince did the Super Bowl Halftime show in 2007, performing several of his hits in the pouring rain. The idea of a Prince hologram was floated by Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson last April. Pitchfork has reached out to reps for Timberlake and Prince for more information. Timberlake recently held a listening party for his new album Man of the Woods at Prince’s iconic Paisley Park compound. Read our review of the album.
