The Breast Cancer organization Our Pink Hearts held a Benefit Concert on Saturday, October 24th to support survivors and their families at the beautiful Promontory in Hyde Park. Hosted by 107.5 WGCI’s Dana Divine, this spectacular event was well deserved and well received by the audience as the special guest and R&B/Gospel veteran Howard Hewett commanded the crowd to their feet while performing his stream of hits from the 70-90’s. Toi Sing the organization’s creator says their mission is to create events aiming to provide charitable services and education along with healthy recreation and wholesome entertainment to those diagnosed with cancer. It’s even broader mission is to eliminate the 40,000 deaths due to Breast Cancer by empowering and educating women on the importance of early detection and to be their own best proactive advocates for their health.
