Graduation Erupts After Principal Makes Racist Comment Towards The Black Students During Commencement Ceremony

Commencement ceremonies are just one occasion in our children’s lives that should be the happiest of moments.  During a graduation ceremony in Georgia the principal allows her frustration with the activity of the audience due to her own admission of a mistake to bring out what may have been her inner truth.

A video was captured of the moment and what appeared to be the situation is there was a misprint in the program where the Valedictorian’s speech was left out.  The principal of TNT Academy  Nancy Gordeuk had already dismissed the graduates and in the process she realized her mistake and asked that the graduates return to their seats so the Valedictorian could render their commencement speech.

Of course it’s graduation and everyone is excited so one can only imagine the ruckus going on in the auditorium.  Check out the entire video as recorded by an attendee of the graduation:

For this woman who is in a position of authority to react this way is not only unprofessional but it’s appalling especially when it is her own fault.  No one should have to be treated in any way other than professional.

Principal Gordeuk in the video she said the guests were and called them “goobers & cowards” it’s that type of behavior would warrant her to be reprimanded or better yet removed from her position but then after she made those comments she says “look who’s leaving…all the black people” at that point the crowd went nuts.  Everyone began to file out of the auditorium in sheer amazement and rightfully so.

Interestingly enough TNT Academy’s Mission Statement says:

“The Purpose of TNT Academy is to encourage academic success by providing opportunities for students to develop strengths and overcome challenges.
TNT provides a personalized and positive learning environment which enables each student to reach their potential.”

Well with behavior like this from the leader of the school, one can only imagine what the curriculum was like.  We feel horrible for the students especially the Valedictorian for the 2015 graduating class, they never got a chance to address their peers.  We hope the administration takes this seriously and hands down the proper punishment.
