According to Inspire More Blog, 47-year-old Matthew Howard Sr. was enjoying a summer day at a New York amusement park with his daughter, Leeann Winchell, when they heard frantic screams cutting through the air. He looked up to see a young girl hanging off of a slow-moving gondola ride, more that 25 feet above the concrete footpath they were walking on.
Holding on for dear life, the girl’s little brother clung to the fabric of her shirt crying hysterically for help, saying that he couldn’t hold on any longer.
