Freeing Nearly 200 Children: Nationwide Crackdown on Child Prostitution and Sex Trafficking

And now we’re going to turn next to a nationwide crackdown on a problem that could reach into every community in this country. Today the FBI moved into rescue nearly 200 children right here in the United States. Most of them girls many lured from their homes by sex traffickers.

ABC Cecilia Vega was with the investigators and brings us the drama of that rescue. I hate — the track Oakland’s red light district just one target any nationwide crackdown announced today. A place where prostitutes come to make their money through many of them just girls.

How younger we talking. The youngest don’t — — say. I’ve seen is thirteen.

This undercover Oakland cop his — — part of that’s sweet and I am here for the steam — the FBI and police try to save as many girls as — hand. Today announcing that operation cross country put 281. Alleged — behind bars and rescued 168.
