Columbus Short appears to have a bad luck cloud hovering over him.

According to TMZ, Columbus Short is being evicted from the home he’s been renting just outside of Los Angeles. Apparently, the former “Scandal” actor fell about a month behind on his $6, 995/month rent and is now being asked to leave.

The landlord went and got a court order that gives Columbus five days to vacate the premises. However, from the looks of it, those five days won’t been needed. It’s reported that he already packed his stuff and got out of dodge. So far, it’s unclear if he paid his outstanding rent balance before leaving.

The 32-year-old actor has been having a rather difficult time these days. In addition to a plethora of legal woes, he’s facing an ugly divorce from his estranged wife, Tanee McCall-Short, as well as a custody battle for their daughter. Not to mention that he was fired from ABC’s hit television show “Scandal.” With just two months left in the year, we’re hoping that his 2015 will be a lot better than his 2014 has been.
