Former African-American Chorus Line Dancer Age 102, Sees Herself Dance For First Time And Is Totally Amazed

dancer

102-year-old Alice Barker was a chorus line dancer during the 1930s and 1940s. Barker spent her days dancing at clubs with legends of the era – such as Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly.

Although Alice has fond memories of her time as a professional dancer, she has never actually been able to see herself dancing on stage! And many of her photos have gotten lost over the years, according to a video posted on YouTube by Tenfresh.

But thanks to the help of one man named Mark Cantor, Alice was recently able to watch herself perform for the very first time!

In the touching video, Mark brings the priceless footage to Alice’s hospital bed, where she is overjoyed to see her videos! While watching, Alice begins to tap her hands a long with the beat and is clearly in awe at her own talent!

After seeing the videos, Alice is asked how the videos made her feel. Her response?

“It made me wish that I could get out of this bed and do it all over again.”

And when asked if she wanted to watch again, she said, “Yes please!”
