14- Year old Giovanni Melton had a very chaotic life from the beginning.  He lived in foster homes and just didn’t quite fit in with the other boys.

The boy’s father is an employee at United Airlines and has since been taken into custody for his barbaric act.  A family friend said that the boy was caught with his boyfriend on a previous situation and his father pulled a gun on him.

According to his foster mother, he was Mentally, Physically and spiritual abused for many years.

She goes on to say, “I hope they throw the book at him,” adds Giovanni’s foster mother. “I hope he never sees the light of day, I hope every day when he looks in the mirror, he sees his son’s face.”

Although it’s his son, Giovannis father will more than likely get charged with a hate crime which carries stiffer penalties.
