Chicago, On July 19, 2014 Ear Hustle 411 had the honor and distinct pleasure  of covering the CD Listening party for none other than 16-year old Lil Kaotik. This extraordinary event took place at Complex Studios in Chicago, IL.  This young man is an inspiration to many young people as he has totally changed the rap game.  His Creativity and the incorporation of metaphors made it easy for the audience to feel his message which was delivered with precision.  This young man definitely has a story to tell.

The current state of hip hop is either violent or sexually charged in nature with nonintellectual words that have no meaning whereas Lil Kaotik brings an alternative to gang violence, lewd and raunchy lyrics; he is passionate, inspiring and does it all without using one derogatory word in his music.  “Clean Hip Hop” is what he calls it.

The name of his album “By Any Means Necessary” was inspired by Kanye West and none other than Legendary Malcolm X.  Kanye West, a hip hop icon uses the quote ‘By Any Means Necessary” to describe how hard work, determination and doing everything in your power to win will get you on top and Malcolm X was a Civil Rights Leader who used the quote to strengthen, Educate and bring about change and power to his people.  Kaotik said, “I couldn’t have picked a better name for my CD”.

When asked about the violence in Chicago, Kaotik said, “The violence is crazy, young people live your life because the violence will only take you 6 feet under.  Chicago used to be known for Michael Jordan one of the best NBA players in the world, now we’re known as the Murder Capital.”

Lil Kaotik’s offered advice for his fans; don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something, just go get it. The star is in your face just grab it.  Don’t let anyone steal your dreams.  you can do or be anything you want, just believe in yourself.

When asked is there anything you want to say to your fans? Lil Kaotik kept it simple and sweet.  I just want to say I love you.
