Print media in this day of the technology and digital age sometimes it seems as if it’s a dying art.  Every once in a great while we see some really awesome covers that transcends the test of time.

Ebony Magazine one of the oldest black print publications ever founded in 1945.  In 2010 the publication celebrated 65 years of existence by recreating 13 of their most infamous covers with some of today’s biggest musical artists and television and film faces.  Although this was 5 years ago, EarHustle411 and the writing staff loves these covers.  As fans of Ebony Magazine, not because it’s a black publication with a rich history but because some of our favorite journalist peers got their start at Ebony and with the Johnson Publishing Company family. Sometimes to know where you are going, it is imperative to know where you’ve been.  We are still big fans of Ebony Magazine and now 5 years later EarHustle411 celebrates with Black America’s longest running publication.

Happy 70th Anniversary Ebony Magazine.
