The actor, 43, who became the first male actor to win two SAG Awards in one night this year, traveled in style to receive the Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) honor at the palace from Prince William.
The fashionable star wore a fitted deep purple jacket for the occasion and posed in front of a shiny limo on his way to the event – proudly showing off his “proppa” style.
“Flying the East End flag at Buckingham Palace today!!! OBE Day….. How does the boy look? Feeling Proppa,” the Luther star, who was born and raised in London’s East End, tweeted.
And the honored actor had a very special date on his arm – his proud mom, Eve Elba.
The star, who was all smiles in a sweet snap alongside his mother, took to Twitter to share the memorable moment: “Made my Mum very happy today!” he said.
