Dylan Roof ‘s African- American friend talks to media about Dylan before his shooting spree at Charleston Emanuel AME Church.  He said his reaction to the news was that Dylan did everything he said he was going to do and he feels no different from him today as felt about him before he murdered 9 innocent people in a church.

He then said, “Who’s to say Dylan was in his right mind, you don’t know what anyone goes through.”

The reporter asked Dylan’s black friend was Dylan ignorant or racist in which he replied, “No.”

He said, ” everyone is making him out to be a racist but here I am in front of you as a black man and telling you, I look at him no different.”

He claims Dylan never said anything racist to him and he never treated him any different than he treated his white friend Justin who accompanied him during the interview.

Dylan’s friend said the church was not his primary target at all and that he originally planned to shoot up the University.
