Las Vegas police responded to a shooting on Wednesday afternoon.

It happened around 3:15 p.m. at Jones Gardens on the 1700 block of Marion Drive, near Owens Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.

Police said one man was shot several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are now looking for suspected shooter, 21-year-old Anishya Douglas. Police said she and the victim started arguing on Tuesday night over money and a game of dice, and it ended in gunfire on Wednesday afternoon.

It’s believed Douglas came to the apartment to confront the victim over the events from the day before. The two were having a conversation that escalated to Douglas pulling a handgun and shooting the victim.

Douglas is 5’3″ and weighs 120 pounds. She has short hair and wears baggy clothes.

Douglas was last seen fleeing the scene and should be considered armed and dangerous. Police said she is a threat to the public.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call police immediately.

There were children and other adults in the apartment when the shooting happened, but no other injuries were reported.
