DePaul Women’s Basketball Player Amarah Coleman Gets Drafted To The WNBA As The 28th 3rd Round Draft Pick

DePaul Women’s Basketball player Amarah Coleman on following her dream and making it to the WNBA’s Chicago Sky as their 28th 3rd Round Draft Pick.

The Bolingbrook native took to the game of basketball like a fish to to water and she’s worked on perfecting her game from the very start.  With the guidance of her parents Lakeisha & Shelton Coleman doubled by the support of her siblings Krystal, Zarrea and Kalani it’s no wonder she’s excelled to the level of the game Amarah has reached.

As of the 2017 season Coleman has played in 34 out of 35 scheduled games and she averages 11.2 points and 3 rebounds. So far her career high is an impressive 20 points, 5 Assists and 5 steals during  game against Butler.

As the official announcement was posted to the Chicago Sky’s official Facebook page, Coleman’s best friend and fellow Homewood-Flossmoor teammate Kristen Moore #2 at Univ. of Missouri at Kansas (recently voted to the WAC Academic All Conference and is also excelling the game was sending her kudos via Snapchat.
