Two juveniles are being sought after a southeast neighborhood was hit by a vandalism spree overnight Tuesday, the Denver Police Department said.
The vandalism was in the area of East Exposition Avenue and Holly Street. Police responded to the 700 block of South Hudson Street and took several reports of criminal mischief.
Up to 36 vehicles, two garage doors as well as several garbage cans and other property were spray-painted with racial slurs, sexual images, religious symbols and hate speech.
A trailer in the area was spray-painted with a political reference to a presidential candidate and a camper vehicle was spray-painted with a Jewish Star of David.
Police said two white juvenile males wearing T-shirts and baseball hats, and carrying backpacks were seen in the area on foot.
Anyone with information or if spray-painted canisters are seen in the area are asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
