Well Earhustle411 family, it’s almost time for the Chosen Few Picnic.  Truthfully speaking you really can’t call it a picnic anymore….IT’S AN EVENT!!!  The House community has suffered a huge loss this year.  Since the death of Frankie Knuckles, me personally I have to look at life just a bit differently.  I have always been positive but neglect to stop and smell the roses sometimes.  Well not anymore….I will be smelling roses every chance I get and there will be no more neglecting myself for others!!

Now on to the business at hand.  I will be “spotlighting” all the guest DJs and The Chosen Few everyday until July 4th.  Today’s spotlight is on DJ Steve “Miggedy” Maestro.  I have known Steve for several years now and he is one of the most humble and talented people I know in the music industry.  While his heart has “House” pumping through it, Steve produces and spins all genres because just like me, he appreciates good music!!

He’s been asked before why he had not played the picnic before and on June 7th 2014 he finally gave an answer to the question in a post on Facebook.  He said “I’VE HAD A MILLION PEOPLE ASK & I WOULD ALWAYS SAY, “IT’S NOT MY TURN YET”. YOU GUYS & GALS HAVE TO UNDERSTAND RADIO AIN’T GOT S*** TO DO WITH THEIR PROGRAM!”  

Well Steve, my friend I hear you loud and clear and I am so proud of you and happy that you will get your chance to shine and showcase your talents to the masses up close and personal.  Make sure to play a song for me Mr DJ!!!

I look forward to seeing Steve “Miggedy” Maestro and my girl, his wife Lady Laronda Maestro having a good time enjoying the sounds of “House”
