The following news comes as a welcomed surprise especially for those who have been wondering what the plight of the Doug Banks Radio Show would be. DeDe Renee has been holding down the fort after the untimely death of Doug Banks on April 11, 2016. His death left a humongous void in the radio industry and his nationally syndicated programming has been mourning his loss but by the grace of God managed to do what they know Doug would want and that is to move on and give the people what they expect.
As the City of Chicago prepares to memorialize Doug Banks on May 21, 2016 at the Harold Washington Cultural Center, the announcement for Doug’s successor (it sounds so unreal but profound because no one can replace Mr. Dan Ryan Head himself) in one of his closest friends, colleague and Doug would consider him family and that man would be none other that comedian Rudy Rush.
Rudy Rush’s appointment is a fantastic selection to move the Doug Banks Show forward.
