Heidi Russo the birth mother of San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick who gave him up for adoption took to twitter to voice her opinion regarding her son.

After her son  took a political stand and said he will not rise for the National Anthem during his upcoming season due to the oppression of blacks in America, His birth mother tagged him in a tweet saying, “They’re ways to make change w/o disrespecting and bringing shame to the very country and family who afforded you so many blessings.”

A lot of the people on twitter are calling Heidi and opportunist, some even said, she gave up her black child and kept the white ones.  Some went as far as calling her a needy B*tch. Heidi feels that she is just giving him some advice as a mother would any child.
