Ciara has slammed popular magazine Us Weekly after they posted an interview the Goodies singer did concerning her life after the break up with Future.

She took to her Twitter Wednesday to set the record straight.

She wrote, “I did not do this interview with you! This is a lie, and tasteless! Must you be that thirsty to create a story?! Unbelievable!”

“Be CLEAR. I interviewed with your Beauty Editor about Degree & Mtv HOS. U manipulated my words & took the interview for sensation…As I said, thirsty!”

In the article published Wednesday just hours after her and Future’s split was announced, Ciara said while she is focused on being a mom, she wants to delve back into her career as well.

“I want to be one of those moms and women that when I look back, I know that I always stayed focused. It’s about keeping your eyes on the prize. Before I had a child, I had goals. And I still have to accomplish those goals, but now that I have a child, I have more goals to accomplish. So I can’t waste time. I have to go for it. It’s actually pushing me harder, and forward.”

Us Weekly was the first to report news Wednesday that she and Future decided to call it quits just three months after baby Future was born. An insider said the two went their separate ways because he cheated.
